FAQ & myths about psychic work

Mental skills and sensitivity are like muscles - they can be developed through strength training

Because spiritual skills are not something that our society would consider important to teach, we as a human race often have prejudices and fears towards spirituality. This manifests itself, for example, in questioning our own spiritual experiences as "a product of the imagination". Often, especially sensitive people also experience symptoms in some way that make them seek medical attention, often with some kind of mental health diagnosis.

Often, the only socially accepted channel for explaining spiritual experiences is religiosity. However, spirituality is something much broader than religion. Religion can be a good tool for explaining and practicing spirituality, but it is not the only way to be spiritual. Feel and experiment with what suits you and what attracts you or what you are drawn to.

1

Can it happen that one is not "spiritual enough" and can't thus open up? Even if one is interested.

If you feel even a little bit of interest in opening up, then you are open. For the spiritual world, openness cannot be thought of as sufficiency, but is completely above that hierarchy. The phenomenon is the same as if you were to think whether you were born into this world sufficiently, or whether you have a sufficient name. You are simply spiritual, without any qualifications.

4

Only a few people can be true mediums.

This belief probably has a religious background. In religions, certain people are chosen to be divine messengers, or priests, and people's own inner core of Light often takes a back seat as the external, socially defined divine Light receives more attention.

Absolutely all people, from gurus to mentally ill alcoholics, are Light. This means that practically every person can be a medium. Just as every person who is born has a normal nervous system and a normal muscular system. However, not everyone becomes a professional athlete, although everyone has muscles. Becoming a medium is a conscious choice to open up, and there are no qualifications required.

7

Psychics always research and Google the background of the person they are reading with beforehand.

This is a so-called hot reading, which is done by mentalists - not mediums. I would say that if a medium does this, they are figuratively shooting themselves in the foot, because the more information and details the medium receives in advance about what they are reading, the more difficult the reading becomes. For this reason, I do not do readings for family members or people I know well and have a strong emotional connection with. My mind and its memories, feelings and interpretations and the snowfall they form drown out the signal from the spirit world.

2

What if I have some really bad visions and start to fear my abilities?

Spirit always channels into our minds in a subtle way. With over five years of experience and thousands of clients, all the messages I have received have been positive, even in difficult sessions such as (suicide) and overdose cases.

The law of free will prevails in our universe. If you encounter frightening experiences from the spirit world, it is because you have figuratively allowed and opened the door to those experiences. When you are completely sure of your own power, you will realize that fear is only the lack of visible light. Fear is therefore an ignorance of the Light. The Light is still always present. It must also wait for your call, or the decision to believe in it, at which point the fear will dissipate.

The spirit world cannot walk over free will, but what you decide to be ready to receive will be opened to you. No choice is wrong, but the right one for you according to what you want to receive.

5

Mediums can control and manipulate the spirit world to their own advantage.

A medium is, as the name suggests, just a medium, a channel. A medium is like a radio. A radio cannot decide the program that is broadcast from the "studio". You can only turn it on, listen to the speech or music coming from the ether through it, and then turn it off.

Like us living people, spirits also have free will. Therefore, as a medium, I cannot order anyone to come, but they choose to come of their own free will. A witch orders the spirit world, a medium does not. A medium can of course be a witch and vice versa.

8

How do you know if the contact with spirit is real?

I always ask the spirit world to show me something tangible. Examples of tangible things that I have come across in my sessions might be seeing a lighthouse, smelling a certain type of soap, hearing a certain lullaby, or seeing the license plate of an old car. The client usually recognizes the tangible thing in question - not always immediately, but it can take time and the realization can happen some time after the reading.

3

I thought psychics just use cold reading techniques and trick people?

The person using this technique is not a medium, but a mentalist. It is very likely that such people know that some kind of supernatural abilities exist, but because they are operating from their "everyday mind" and have not opened their spiritual channel, they resort to reading body language, among other things.

The less a real medium knows about their subject, the better. Then the medium's everyday mind is out of the game and cannot make interpretations. I always ask my client to tell me only his first name. If he starts telling me any other details about his life, I ask him to stop immediately, because it activates my everyday mind (= the mind that doubts, makes interpretations and where the inner monologue takes place). This again obscures intuition.

6

Psychics are mind readers.

Mediums are usually clairvoyant and can gain intuitive information about the emotional state of the person being read to or the state in which they sense the environment clairvoyantly. However, the medium does not sense actual thoughts, as they are formed at the level of the everyday mind. At this level, everything is separate - people, objects, motivations.

9

Is there anything religious about your mediumship?

No. The spirit world and religions are different things. In my experience, religion is one way among others to explain what happens through the spirit.

I am spiritual myself, but I am not religious and I do not really represent any particular religion. People from all faiths come to me as clients and their experiences are very similar regardless of religion.

I have had clients who are Christians, Muslims, Pagans and even atheists. All religious beliefs of my clients are welcome and accepted.
